About Us - seniors-in-canada.com
Having reached the status of '60-something' ourselves, we, most of our friends and many family members, find that the range of options open to us, and the sometimes dramatic changes make for an interest, and yes, sometimes stressful, life.  By sharing life experiences and by passing along knowledge gained, we hope to establish a communication that will be both fun and helpful for ourselves and readers.

It is our belief that everyone can continue to experience travel and adventure, even if of the softer kind.  As our joints seize up and our stamina lags behind we have to change the way we approach life, but it is simply that - a change.  None of us have to stop! Canada is a great place to live and a wonderful country to explore.  We urge you to look for ways you can enjoy travel, new experiences you can savour.  To help you along the way we, and fellow authors and photographers, will take you along on our trips.

It is also our belief that lifestyle and leisure should be approached in a positive way.  Your days should not be something to be lived through, but rather something to live for.  Again, we hope to open new doors, offer encouragement, and pass along knowledge to make for a better life.

Seniors-in-Canada is brought to you by Seacroft, a small publishing house located in eastern Canada.  This, folks is our labour of love.  After a writing career that has seen more than 25 books and hundreds of articles published, and more commercial work than I want to think about, I am now determined to write for joy.  I write about subjects and experiences that are close to my heart and we will purchase articles from likeminded individuals from time to time.

As a travel writer, and a publisher, the creative process are an important element in life, one I am taking on the road in our new-to-us RV.  What a life!!!

I have a bit of a saying - "if this is the sandwich generation, why do I feel like a torte."  For yes, we have aged parents to consider, as well as children and on-going health concerns ourselves.  We also have layers of family and friends with issues, needs and concerns.  You see the layers building!  Yup, there are stresses and concerns, but you know what?  This is life.  It's the one we have so we live it as best we can.

By sharing we hope to pass along some tidbits of information that help you live to the hilt.  So Enjoy!
